Zionsville Education Foundation

About ZEF

The Zionsville Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on public education in Zionsville. With the generous financial support of our parents, community members, educators, and local businesses, we are able to fund grant requests for innovative programs within the Zionsville Community School system. We also partner with the Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) on joint-funding of education-based initiatives.

With your help ZEF has been able to award over $450,000 in Grants for Education since 1996.  ZEF offers two teacher grant cycles every school year; one in the fall and one in the spring.  Most recently, in the fall grant cycle, we were able to award over $30,000 in Teacher/Classroom Grants to our deserving teachers and administrators.  ZEF also awards Imagine/Professional Development Grants (up to $3000 each) each fall specifically for educator enrichment. Student Enrichment Grants (up to $3000 per year) have also been supported starting in 2010.

Support for our grant initiatives is provided by individual donors, corporate sponsorships, and income generated from special events. A fall event, Fall Frolic, and the ZEF "In Style" Luncheon held in early spring, are two such events.
